Always had a love for flying but fought myself to justify the expense. Took the plunge and haven't looked back. Started out with a 152, too small. Started flying a Warrior to get most of my time during flight training. I became intrigued with helicopters and bought a 300c to get my ppl in. A local flight school leased it and destroyed it. I found that helicopters were an expensive endeavor so I bought an Archer II and finished my ppl. I flew the Archer until I was fortunate enough to purchase my Cirrus. A Dream come true as I have always wanted one.
i am a retired firefighter/paramedic of thirty years and have been building and developing residential properties for twenty five years. I have a very supportive family and now enjoy the pleasure of my wife flying with me. She lived up to her word that she would fly with me if I bought a Cirrus. Life is great.

I am Partner in Command for my husband, Mike Tomlinson. We own and love our SR22. I soloed in a Piper Cub many, many years ago but then had to make a choice between getting my CPA license or taking flying lessons while working full time. The rest is history. I am a CPA. I have attended several of the PIC sessions at the Migrations and at CPPP and found them very useful. I highly recommend the sessions to those who sit in the right seat.
I have always loved to travel and recently started a Travel Consulting business with a good friend of mine. We want everyone to have as much fun as we do and to have these great experiences when you travel to new places, meet new friends and explore cultures. Besides flying, cruising is my next favorite past time. See you at the next Migration

Mason Wright is an enthusiastic and safety focused pilot. Having dreamed of flying since his youth, he only recently started flying for real in 2006, but since then has piloted 34 different aircraft. In 2020 he sold the Decathlon he owned for 10 years and bought his ”Pandemic Plane” which is a Cirrus 2005 SR22TN. This greatly expanded the practical range of his travels during a time where it’s been very challenging and painful to fly commercially. It also gave him the opportunity to blow the dust off his Instrument Rating after 10 years of non-use and provides a rewarding and challenging flight profile. Mason shares that the most fun flying he has done is on floats even though he doesn’t get to do it very often these days. Ratings include SES, SEL, w/ Instrument privileges as well as having obtained complex, high performance, and tail wheel endorsements with a commercial certificate and maybe even flight instructor in his future plans.
His professional career consists of over 30 years of work in Information Technology starting with hands-on systems, networking, databases, and application development later developing into leadership roles increasing in responsibility over the last 21 years and culminating most recently in CIO type roles including his current role as Global Head of Information Technology for UiPath.
