Scheduling flight and ground sessions

Sending out Sim Assignment Letter.

  • Go to regonline and click on the line for your event
  • Select STANDARD REPORTS and then click on Attendees
  • Click on Filter and choose these filters then click Ok:
    • Registration Types – ALL
    • Registration Status – ALL BUT CANCELED
  • Sort by DATE REGISTERED
  • Select the box next to the first 8 attendees (careful not to select a partner).
  • Then hit the button SEND EMAIL.
  • Select the CPPP- SIM ANNOUNCEMENT email from the top drop down menu.
  • Verify the email and then send.
  • Continue this process until you have 8 sim attendees confirmed and assigned.
  • When I do the final pairing of attendees (the weekend of the event), I try to pair them up based on what equipment they fly (keep 6 pack fliers and glass fliers together).

Sending out email reminders for missing Certificates of Insurance

  • RUN the “CPPP-Flight Students Missing COFL” report under CUSTOM REPORTS tab on regonline.
  • If you still have attendees that haven’t gotten their Certificate of Insurance(names are listed), you then need to click
  • SEND EMAIL located at the bottom of the list.
  • And then select “CPPP-No of I” letter from drop down menu. Then send it out.

We still have 9 flight students w/ no COI so hopefully they get them in soon. I plan (or you want to try) to run this report again next Monday. Then run it again next week around Wednesday to make sure everyone has their COI turned in. If you still have names on the list as of next Wednesday, at this point I call them personally to let the know that no COI, NO FLIGHT INSTRUCTION at CPPP. :) Usually these letters get the job done.
