CAPS pilot Verle Wiita speaks at COPA M8
Cirrus pilot, Verle Wiita, pulled the red handle and deployed CAPS after becoming disoriented in IMC with his passenger door opened and letting rain and wind into the cockpit. Verle describes the situation he faced as it unfolds, his decision and though process that went into it.
