Wanted exhaust muffler for a SR22 G1 single exhaust

Hi All

I have an SR22 G1 with a single exhaust and in Australia our governing body ,CASA deems it necessary to replace the muffler every 1000 hours, irrespective of its condition. I can get this one overhauled in US but will be without the plane for about 1 month plus. Could buy a new one for about $6000 from Cirrus, but there is none in the world to buy. I could get one made in Australia for about $1700 but it doesn't come with the necessary paper work to make it genuine. Cirrus won't release the specifications etc. so the paper work can't be generated. 

So if anyone has a genuine single exhaust for a G1 SR22, I would love to buy it, get it overhauled in the US (this gives me the necessary paperwork) and the world is a happy place and so is CASA

Try Dawley Aviation.  They had them in stock for my dual Exhaust G1.  Price was cheap, compared to what you're seeing.

I have a G1 exhause that was removed and tagged when I upgraded to dual exhaust and six point engine mount. I also have the original 4 point mount and cowling. It is all in great condition. Let me know what you need. edbuiel@gmail.com.

Thanks Ed I have instructed Aerospace Welding to do their bit and then forward the unit to me in Australia. This has helped me immensely and you have relieved your self of a next to useless  piece of equipment for your plane. Safe flying.
