Your old COPA password will NOT WORK until you follow this procedure.  

Why: Your password on the old server is encrypted and could not be transferred to the new software.

Your old COPA forum login/username, private messages and posting history have been preserved.

Do not create a new account!

1. Click "Sign In". (www.cirruspilots.org - home page - upper left corner - under COPA logo.)
   
   
2. Under "Existing User" click "Forgot your password?"
   
   
3. Enter the specific email address listed in your current COPA account.
   If you use a different email account it will not work.
   You will receive an automated email. Depending on server load the email may take 10 to 15 minutes. Check your junk mail folder if you don't see it.
   
   
4. Click on the link in the email to enter your password (twice). Be sure to click "Change Password" after entering. 
    
5. You will be taken to the Edit Profile page.  Click through all the tabs and update any outdate information in your profile.  Be sure you click Save All Tab Changes when you are done.
    
6. Any old bookmarks to COPA pages will need to be updated.

Problems? If you are unable to login using the above procedure, (for example, you did not receive back a temporary password email after 15 minutes) please get help by posting on the Need Help Logging In Board set up just for this purpose. (No login needed.) Volunteer Login Fixers will be immediately notified and help should come quickly. 
 Be sure to include your COPA username and contact information (phone or email) in the post text. 

As a last resort, please email Webmaster@Cirruspilots.org. Include your name, your COPA username (login name), and your phone number.
