Service Center Feedback Tour

SERVICE CENTER FEEDBACK IS TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE BUT WILL RETURN SOON.  It is being ported to run on the new website.  Here is the Tour.

Here is a quick look at the main screens.  Anyone can see the tour. Access to the actual Service Center Feedback system is for registered paid COPA members only.

Please note that the images are nearly two years out of date and have not been updated yet for the changes introduced in August 2008, so there will be a number of visual changes.

The first screen you will see shows a map you can click on to see Service Centers (SC) in the region you are interested in. Our Cirrus airplanes are pretty fast, so in the USA the regions are large enough to cover several states. Just click the region.

After you click on a region, you’ll see a page like this one, with a number of Service Centers listed. Pick a SC by clicking on the name.

Note that a shop does not have to be an authorized Cirrus Service Center to be listed.

While we try to keep all current authorized SCs on the list, if there is another shop you’d like to provide feedback on, you can add it to the list by clicking the button at the bottom of the page (not shown here). But be sure it’s not already on the list, first.

Here’s a record for a SC chosen at random. Basic contact information and facts are shown. Since members on the spot are our best source of information, any member can edit or update the record for the SC by clicking [Edit] on the right side of the highlighted information box.

Note the concise display of multiple feedback reports by members. You can scroll down the page to get an impression of member opinions in the actual feedback system. You can see why a lot of reports are helpful…opinions do vary. Note that anonymous reports are allowed.

Service Centers are allowed to respond to member comments if they wish.

To enter your own feedback report, just click the button at the top of the listings.

Here’s a blank feedback report. There’s not much to it. Enter the approximate date of your service, a brief description of the service, and brief comments. The size of the comments is intentionally limited to keep things concise.

Keep your comments brief, relevant and polite. If you were happy, tell us. If you were unhappy, tell us. This is not a forum for resolving disputes, debating, or airing grievances. Click the link on the policy for the full policy on what’s appropriate and what’s not.

This system is a terrific way to find a great Service Center for the type of problem you are having or for your routine maintenance.  It is especially valuable when you are traveling away from home. Access is for registered paid COPA members only.
